Old Man of Storr – Scotland
Overlooking the vast landscape of Scotland, almighty pinnacles of rock rise up from the Earth on the Isle of Skye, like guardians and protectors of the land.
The hike up to was harder than I had anticipated, especially since it had been raining heavily all day (read: very muddy). It took about 1 hour to reach the top, but somehow, the rain stopped and the clouds parted just long enough for me to grab this shot!
It is arguably the most popular walk on the Isle of Skye, but it’s oh so worth it. The view at the top is absolutely phenomenal, and to be honest, any image doesn’t really do it proper justice.
Processed from a single RAW file, slightly underexposed so I knew I was able to bring back detail in the clouds and sky.
